Dustin Wiebold
Sales/Project Manger
If you were to wind the clock back 20 years you would find Dustin Wiebold working as a window installer for Renewal by Andersen. It didn't take long and Dustin found his niche and opened his own window company, Sunset Window Designs. Moving along through the years, and becoming more well-rounded as a tradesman, Dustin attended night classes for a degree in Building Inspection Technology and obtained his builder's license from the State of Minnesota. In 2005, he was a municipal building inspection intern and was able to contribute to good building practices in a civil capacity.
In early 2006 he found an opportunity to work with the Army Corps of Engineers as a contractor for Operation Blue Tarp; Dustin found himself wanting more and returned home to enlist in the Minnesota Army National Guard as a Signal Systems Support Specialist. With nearly 10 years of military radio and computer communications, Dustin also found himself working with underground fiber-optic telecommunications, performing home inspections for home buyers (Liberty Home Inspections), providing continuing education for state-licensed building contractors, and collaborating with local building officials for uniformity in building code. In 2015, Dustin became a professional, full-time, ASHI-certified home inspector at Structure Tech Home Inspections.
One thing that has remained consistent throughout the years is Dustin's passion for residential construction, building science and property rights through the completion of many remodeling and general building projects.
In his free time, you can find Dustin chasing storms as a Trained Storm Spotter, and providing communications for local running races. Dustin and his family enjoy hunting for the MN State Gemstone, the rich and beautifully colored Lake Superior Agate. Lastly, Dustin relaxes by shooting black and white film landscape photography of scenic Minnesota.
